This hard drive contained graphic writings and images, including a Skype chat expressing intent to abuse a child and documents describing fantasies of drugging and harming a young girl and her mother. Additionally, authorities discovered 75 adolescent girls’ swimsuits and child abuse photographs.
Evidence Linking Brueckner to Madeleine’s Disappearance
Investigators have found items at Brueckner’s property that suggest a connection to Madeleine’s disappearance. Among the findings were children’s clothes, bikes, and over 75 children’s swimming costumes, despite Brueckner having no children of his own. A satnav device recovered from the site showed movements around the Algarve region, where Madeleine vanished.
Witness Testimony and Alleged Confession
A former associate of Brueckner, identified as Helge B., claimed that Brueckner confessed to Madeleine’s abduction and murder during a conversation in 2008.
